I’ve grown really fond of landscape photography because there’s nothing quite like it. No matter where you are at any time there’s always a unique shot that can be taken, whether it’s a vivid field of green grass or the calm blue reflective glass of water. Landscape photography is everywhere yet hard to capture to its full potential and that’s why I like it.
This photo really caught my eye because it shows how much of a special land mark this really is due to the series of handprints visible across the wall of the Canyon. I like the angle the photo was taken because it defines the main section of the wall as well as being able to see that the Canyon continues. I also love the clarity of the picture because you can see all of the colours of the Canyon and the details and texture of the Canyon.
